The present application under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, has been filed to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 2940 of 2024, (State Vs. Vinod Bajpai and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 494 of 2019, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 506 of I.P.C., Police Station- Powayan, District- Shahjahanpur, as well as cognizance/ summoning order dated 18.11.2023 pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ist, Shahjahanpur. After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicants does not want to press this application and wants liberty to file an appropriate application/ bail application/ proceedings before the court of competent jurisdiction. Certified copy of the order may be returned to the learned counsel for the applicants after retaining a xerox thereof.
