GP FOR AGRICULTURE (AP) The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondents in not implementing the G.O.Ms.No.138 Finance (HR.IV.FR) Department dated 8-8-2017 for continuation of the Petitioners in service upto the age of 60 year in spite of the orders passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in S.L.P.No.14330-14334 dated 5-5-2017 and the interim orders passed by the Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.21019 of 2017 in W.P.No.17171 of 2017 dated 18-5-2017 and taking steps to retire the petitioners on attaining the age of 58 years is illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14,16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the Petitioners are entitled to continue upto the age of 60 years with all consequential benefits.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.V.Ramana, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Respondents-Authorities have complied with the interim order dated 30.04.2018 in I.A.No.1 of 2018 and accordingly, the Petitioners retired from service on attaining the superannuation age of 60 years and hence, no further orders are required in this matter. 3. Learned Government Pleader for Agriculture would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of and the interim order dated 30.04.2018 passed in I.A.No.1 of 2018, is made absolute. There shall be no order as to costs.
