Also heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. Page No.# 2/2 2. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, have been filed by the petitioners, namely, 1. Faruk Hussain, 2. Samim Sekh, seeking pre- arrest bail in connection with Hojai P.S Case No.189/2025 under Section 118(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, the accused persons were assaulted the victim caused grievous injuries upon them. 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that there was a mutual quarrel arising out of family dispute. 5. The learned Addl. P.P. upon perusal of the case diary and injury report submits that the same indicates grievous injuries upon the victims. 6. However, it appears that the one of the victim sustained fracture on her hand and another on the nose i.e. non vital parts of the body. 7. It submitted on behalf of the petitioners that pursuant to interim protection granted by this Court the petitioner have already appeared before the I.O. and their statements have been duly recorded. 8. Having regard to the above, the prayer pre-arrest for bail is allowed. 9. Accordingly, the order of interim pre-arrest bail dated 25.09.2025, is hereby made absolute upon the same conditions. 10.
