PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.166 of 2020, on the file of Kotananduru Police Station, East Godavari District. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 03.12.2020, this Court has passed the following order: “…Therefore, in the said facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered view that there shall be a direction to the Investigation Officer not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner while allowing the investigation to go on.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on oral instructions has informed this Court that in view of the order passed by this Court on 03.12.20, the Police have proceeded with the investigation and the same is completed, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same. 4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date though the Police have completed investigation, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
