The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.754 of 2018 for the alleged offences registered under Section 47(a) of Excise Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamshedpur. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the allegations are made that Jawa Mahuwa has been seized and destroyed by the police. He further submits that although the petitioner is named in the FIR, however, he was not present on the spot. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer 2025:JHHC:28767 --2-- A.B.A. No. 5515 of 2025 and submits that the petitioner is having seven criminal antecedents of identical nature and in view of that the anticipatory bail of the petitioner may kindly be rejected. 5. Considering that the petitioner is named in the FIR and it has been alleged that the petitioner has fled away from the spot and the allegations are there of storing of Jawa Mahuwa liquor and the petitioner has got seven criminal antecedents as admitted in paragraph No.11 of the petition itself, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
