The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to award compensation to the petitioners in respect of Arazi No. 336Sa situated in Village Sultanpur, Pargana Kopachit Sharki, Tehsil Ballia, District Ballia, which was acquired for construction of National Highway-31 under Green Field Project. 2. The learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the written instructions received from the SDM, Sadar Ballia, according to which compensation for the subject land was paid to the petitioners on 07.04.2025. 3. The payment advice has been annexed along with the written instructions. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners having regard to the said development fairly states that the cause of action does not survive. 5. Accordingly the petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous. 6. Sri Vaibhav Tripathi, has appeared on behalf of respondent no.5 and Sri Ishan Deo Giri has appeared for respondent no.6.
