The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mohanpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 80(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M, Deoghar. 3. Petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased Priyanka Devi who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. 4. It was submitted that no ante-mortem injury was found on the person of the deceased apart from ligature mark. It was further submitted that the deceased had committed suicide because her in-laws used to taunt her for delivering a girl child. 5. Mr. Lalit Yadav, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the accused persons often used to demand dowry. 6. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M, Deoghar in connection with Mohanpur P.S.
