1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 14.02.2024, passed in MCRC No. 7690 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Rakesh Dharuwa & Gobinda Ghibila, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an VAIBHAV SINGH Digitally signed by VAIBHAV SINGH Date: 2025.06.17 19:45:35 +0530
2 earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 14.02.2024
4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali, Raipur District – Mahasamund, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 09.05.2025 has requested for grant some more time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, Earlier, in this case, after the charge sheet was presented on 30-12-2023, the evidence of 4 witnesses has been recorded till 08-07-2024. After that due to the continuous absence of both the accused, their bail bonds were cancelled on 15-07-2024 and arrest warrants were issued against them. After that, arrest warrants are being issued against them continuously from several dates, but the accused have not been able to appear. On which a memorandum has also been sent to the Superintendent of Police Mahasamund for the presence of the said accused, on which also the accused have not been able to appear till date. Due to which it does not seem possible to resolve the case within the stipulated time limit as per the
order of the Hon'ble High Court, due to which this request is respectfully sent to the Hon'ble to extend the time limit for the resolution of this case. Due to this reason, it is not possible to conclude the trial within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the trial.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today.

7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance.
