The case of the prosecution is that on 15.05.2025, the complainant lodged a report before the respondent police stating that his daughter had been residingl in the USA since 2006. Recently, certain individuals contacted her.through Facebook and initiated discussions about I cryptocurrency investments. Initially, she invested small amounts and received considerable returns in her bank account. Encouraged by the returns, she subsequently invested approximately 1.7 'million US dollars. Thereafter, the scammers demanded an additional amount of 184,000 USD, which his daughter agreed to pay at Ongole. The accused persons then began threatening, blackmailing, and harassing her by threatening to freeze the funds. Fearing for her safety and financial security, the present report was lodge`d, and a crime was registered accordingly. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the leamed Assistant Public Prosecutor. 4. Sri Anand Kumar Kochiri, 'the learned counsel for the-petitioner, submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence; he was falsely implicated in this case; he is the sole breadwinner of the family; he is ready to abide any conditions to be imposed by this Court; and urged to grant bail to the petitioner. I 5. Per confra, Mr. Neelotphal Ganji, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, opposed in granting of bail stating that investigation is not yet <=rfe *~+ K -----.-------.-.-i 3 Dr.YLR, J Crl.P.No.7113 of 2025 Dated 21,07.2025 completed; if the petitl®oner is granted bail, he will repeat the same offence and urged to dismiss the bail petition. 6. Perused the record. 7. The allegation against the petI'tiOner/Accused No.3 is that he assisted I the Accused No.1 in giving access to and withdrawal of the money by operating network. The petitioner has been in judicial custody for the past 58 days. This Court, in Crl.P.No.6214 of 2025 on 01,07.2025, granted bail to the accused No.5. Considering the alleged role played by the petitioner/Accused No.3, the nature of the allegations leveled against hI'm, and the period of detention already undergone by the petitioner/accused No.3, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail with the following stringent conditions. .8. In the result, the crl'minal petition is allowed with the following conditions: i. The petitioner/A3 shall be enlarged on bail subject to he executing a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned VI Additional Junior Civil Judge-Cum- SpeciaI Court for CID Cases, Guntur. ii. The petitioner/A3 shall appear before the station House Officer, CID Police StatI'On, Mangalagiri, on every saturday in between 10:00 am and 05:00 pm, till cognizance is taken by the learned the Trial Court. \``\ .-- I Dr.YLR, i Crl.P.No.7113 of 2025 Dated 21.07.2025 iii, The petitioner/A3 shall not leave the limits of the District without prior permission from the learned Trial Judge. iv. The petitioner/A3 shall not commit or indulge in commission of any offence in future. v. The petitioner/A3 shall cooperate with the investigating I officer in further investigation of the case and shall make himself available for interrogation by the ,investigatihg officer as and when required. vi. The petitioner/A3 shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer. vii. The petitioner shall surrender his passport, if any, to the investigating officer.
