ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondent authorities in not taking any action and not conducting proper investigation in FIR No.150/2023 of Chilakaluripeta Town Police Station, Chilakaluripeta Town, Palnadu District even after a lapse of two years period from the date of registration of crime 06.07.2023 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and against the provisions of law and direct the Respondent authorities to take necessary action and to conduct

proper investigation in FIR No.150/2023 of Chilakaluripeta Town Police Station, Chilakaluripeta Town, Palnadu District as per the provisions laid down in Cr.P.C. and law and consequently direct the Respondents to investigate properly in FIR No.150/2023 of Chilakaluripeta Town Police Station, Chilakaluripeta Town, Palnadu District and as per the outcome of investigate, take legal steps which are warranted under Cr.P.0 /B N.S.S. including arrest and other legal formalities.”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Srinivasa Rao Narra,
learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, despite the case being registered in the year 2023 and even after lapse of two years, there is no progress in the investigation.
3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the Police are going to finalize the investigation within two weeks and file the report before the concerned Court.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of.
5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
