Bharali, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri D. Nath, learned Senior Government Advocate, Assam. The challenge was pertaining to a notice dated 27.10.2025 issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Home & Political Department whereby the petitioner was directed to appear in person before the Appellate Authority along with the arm(s) and Arms License. This Court vide order dated 19.12.2025 after hearing the learned State Counsel had directed to obtain necessary instructions as the application was still said to be under process. Shri Nath, the learned State Counsel has submitted that in the meantime, a Speaking Order has been passed on 22.12.2025 by the Appellate Authority. It appears that the grievance of the petitioner which was raised in this petition has been substantially redressed. The petition accordingly stands closed.
