learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite the crime is registered on 16.07.2024 vide F.I.R No.183 of 2024, there is no progress in the case and charge sheet is not filed in this case. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the petition may be disposed of giving two (2) months time to the Investigating Officer to finish the investigation. In that view, the Writ petition is disposed of directing the Police to finish the investigation and file a report according to law within a period of eight (8) weeks from this day. No order as to costs.
