Suit No. 43 of 2025 on the file of ‘Family Court, Imphal East, Manipur at Lamphelpat’ (‘Family Court’ for the sake of convenience). Husband has come by way of captioned CRP to this Court assailing an interim order dated 30.06.2025 made by the said Family Court in said suit. Pending CRP, the matter was referred to mediation and Manipur State Legal Services Authority vide order dated 04.10.2025 bearing Reference No. 82/MED (MFN)/2025-MASLSA/1251 has intimated the learned Presiding Officer of the said Family Court that the mediation was successful and terms of settlement has also been enclosed. Shamungou Singh, learned counsel for husband/CRP petitioner and Mrs. A. Noutuneshwari Devi, learned counsel for respondent/wife, are before this Court. Both the aforementioned learned counsel submit in unison in one voice that the captioned matter has been settled by resorting to mediation and therefore the captioned matter can be given a closure. This submission is recorded. Be that as it may, both counsel also pointed out that an interim order was made by this Court on 08.07.2025 and the same may please be effaced. This request is acceded to and though obvious, it is made clear that interim order in the captioned CRP will now stand effaced as the CRP itself is being given a closure. Captioned CRP disposed of as closed the same having been settled by resorting to mediation. Interim order stands effaced. There shall be no order as to costs. CHIEF JUSTICE Indrajeet
