Heard Mr. A Chaudhury, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. N Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 Page No.# 3/4 praying for grant of bail for the petitioners in connection with Rangia P.S Case No. 171/2025 registered U/S 61(2)/103(1) of BNS, 2023. 3. The allegations reflected in the FIR is that on 04.08.2025 complainant namely Himani Das lodged an FIR before the Officer-in- Charge of Rangia Police Station to the effect that on 03.08.2025 her husband Kangkan Das was forcefully taken from her house by accused persons through AS-01-FW-7990 ECO Van. Thereafter, the complainant found that her husband’s dead body was found in NH- 27 at Bhatkuchi area and the complainant saw multiple injuries on her husband’s body. Hence the case. 4. The case has already been charge-sheeted. However, on perusal of the Case Diary as well as the statements of the witnesses submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners, it appears that there is no specific material against the present petitioners and the case seems to be based on suspicion. In the meantime, the petitioners have spent 97(ninety-seven) days in custody. 5. Having regard to the above, the bail petition is allowed. The petitioners are allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- each with 1(one) surety each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Ld. Trial Court provided that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not try to influence or intimidate the witnesses in any manner, either directly or indirectly, by themselves or through any other person. 6.
