This Court, vide order dated 22.11.2024, passed in MCRC No. 6936 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Pramod Kumar, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Ambikapur District- Sarguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 19.05.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, it is requested that the Special Criminal (NDPS) Case No. 32/2024 CG State vs Sanjay Korwa and 1 other, Section-21 (C), 29 NDPS Act was ordered to be resolved within six months by the Hon'ble CG High Court, Bilaspur in MCRC No. 6936/2024 Pramod Kumar Gond vs CG State, order dated 22-11-2024, but this case is not being resolved within the said time period due to non- appearance of prosecution witnesses despite due efforts made by this court. At present, the evidence of the investigating witness is pending in the case, hence additional three months' time is required for final disposal of the case. Due to this reason, it is not possible to conclude the trial within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
