28.07.2025 1 Heard Mr. Rajeev Kumar Shrivastava, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr. Shailendra Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for the State/respondent No.1 and Mr. Parth Shrivastava, learned counsel, appearing for respondent No.2. 2 The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following relief(s):-
“1. It is, respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court that the first information report 107/2022 registered at Police Station Gunderdehi District Balod, charge sheet filed against the petitioner and for quashment of Criminal Case No.524/2022 the cognizance has been taken by the court below may kindly be set aside.
2. Any other relief/reliefs which this Hon’ble Court may thing fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case with cost of the petition may also please be granted to the petitioners.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the trial is at an advanced stage and two prosecution witnesses have been examined before the trial Court. Therefore, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh, if occasion so arises. 4
