THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE SHIVASHANKAR AMARANNAVAR ORAL ORDER This petition is filed by Accused Nos.1 and 2 under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of Crime No.12/2025 of Seshadripuram Police Station registered for offences punishable under Sections 34, 120B, 406, 409, 420, 468 and 471 of IPC. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned HCGP for respondent-State. 3. The accusation against the petitioners is that they made a false promise of getting site from the Bangalore Development Authority and received Rs.6 lakhs through bank and Rs.14 lakhs by way of cash from Shivakumar B.V., and forged the documents on letterhead of BDA. The said Shivakumara B.V., has not filed any - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:18249 CRL.P No. 5839 of 2025 complaint. The complaint has been filed by the Police Superintendent of Vigilance Squad BDA. The offences alleged against the petitioners is creating the forged and fabricated documents of BDA. The case of the prosecution is based on the documents. The petitioners have undertaken to cooperate with the police in investigation. 4. It is submitted that the father of the petitioner No.1 died on 06.05.2025 and he has to attend the rituals. Considering the said aspects, the petitioners are entitled for grant of anticipatory bail with conditions and in the result the following: ORDER The petition is allowed. Petitioners are granted anticipatory bail in respect of Crime No.12/2025 of Seshadripuram Police Station, subject to following conditions: 1. The petitioners shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) with one surety for the - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:18249 CRL.P No. 5839 of 2025 like sum to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer; 2. The petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from this day and execute bail bond and furnish surety. 3. The petitioners shall cooperate with the police in the investigation. 4. The petitioners shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
