The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 15690/2018 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a writ order or direction more in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action on part of the 1st Respondent in issuing the notice of superannuation on attainment of the age of 58 years vide proceedings Ref.No. 7229/M1/200018 dated 03.02.2018 and seeking to retire the petitioner from service w.e.f. 30.04.2018 without extending the benefit of enhanced the age of superannuation from 58 years to 60 years issued vide G.O.Ms.No. 147 dated 30.06.2014 as extended in respect of the institutions included in the schedule IX and X of the AP Reorganization Act, 2014 vide G.O.Ms.No.102 Finance (HR.IV- FR) Department dated 27.06.2017 and G.O.Ms.No. 138 Finance (HR.IV-FR) Department dated 08.08.2017 as illegal arbitrary and discriminatory being violative of article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue in service till the attainment of 60 years of age by extending the benefit of enhanced aged of superannuation as provided through the amendment issued vide G.O.Ms.No. 147 dated 30.06.2014 an as extended in respect of the institutions included in the Schedule IX and X of the AP Reorganization Act, 2014 vide G.O.Ms.No.102 Finance (HR.IV-FR) Department dated 27.06.2017 and G.O.Ms.No. 138 Finance (HR.IV-FR) Department dated 08.08.2017 to all the employees of the 1st respondent University and pass…” 2. Heard Sri K. Venugopal Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents is in attendance. 3.
