Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner where the application of the petitioner for issuance of character certificate has been rejected by the respondent authority on the ground that criminal case is pending against the her. 3. It is to be noted that the Division Bench of this Court in the case of the petitioner itself in Writ -C No. 23266 of 2023 had directed the District Magistrate, Ballia to reconsider the matter afresh strictly in accordance with law taking into account the observations made by the Division Bench of this Court. The Court in the said judgment had categorically passed certain findings. Subsequently, the District Magistrate, Ballia had issued the character certificate to the petitioner for the financial year 2023-24. Now for the present financial year 2024-25, the same ground has been taken by the authority in rejecting the character certificate of the petitioner. 4. We do not find any reason to take a different stand from that by the order passed by the coordinate Bench dated 25.07.2023 in Writ -C No. 23266 of 2023. 5. In light of the same, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3/Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ballia to strictly deal the matter in accordance with law taking into account the observations of the Division Bench order of this court dated 25.07.2025 passed in Writ -C No. 23266 of 2023 Order Date :- 4.3.2025 sailesh (Vipin Chandra Dixit, J.)
