JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present petition is filed by the petitioner/wife seeking transfer of MC.No.34/2021 filed by the respondent/husband pending on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge and CJM, Mandya, to the file of the VI Additional Family Court at Bangalore. 2. The parties are referred to as husband and wife for the sake of convenience. 3. The facts of the case are that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 15.11.2018. In view of the disputes between the parties, the husband had filed MC.No.34/2021 on 02.02.2021 for dissolution of marriage. The wife had initiated Crl.Misc.No.158/2023 before the VI Additional Judge, Family Court, Bangalore seeking maintenance. It is submitted that the distance between Bangalore and Mandya is about 150 kilometers and is difficult for the wife to travel. 4. Though notice is served on the respondent, no vakalath is filed. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15570 CP No. 187 of 2024 5. Considering the fact that already Crl.Misc.No.158/2023 is pending before the VI Additional Judge, Family Court, Bangalore and the distance between both the places is 150 kilometers, this Court deems it appropriate to pass the following order: ORDER i. MC.No.34/2021 filed by the respondent pending on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge and CJM, Mandya, is withdrawn and the same is transferred to the file of the VI Additional Family Court at Bangalore. ii.
