ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayers:
"(a) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent no.2 to consider and take a decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner for allotment of plot by considering the representation dated 30.05.2024, 18.09.2024 and 22.11.2024 vide Annexure- D, E, G & H,
And:
(b) Issue such other order or directions as this Hon'ble court deems fit to be granted in the facts and circumstances of the case by allowing this writ petition in the interest of justice and equity."

learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri.Spoorthy Hegde N, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri.D.Boregowda,

learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record.
3. The petitioner registers a claim for allotment of a site in terms of his representations dated 30.05.2024, 18.09.2024 and 22.11.2024. The representations are for the purpose of allotment on account of the acquisition of the allotment of the land which has remained post-acquisition.

Learned counsel for the second respondent-Board submits that if reasonable time is granted, the representations of the petitioner would be considered strictly in consonance with law and appropriate orders would be passed.
5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition directing the respondent-Board to consider the aforesaid representations of the petitioner in consonance with law and pass necessary orders thereon and communicate the
order so passed by the respondent-Board.
6. Since the petitioner is now an octogenarian, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent-Board to consider the

representation of the petitioner within an outer limit of eight weeks and pass necessary orders in accordance with law, if not earlier. With the aforesaid observations, Petition is disposed.
