The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to pay arrear salary and to reinstate him in the service with immediate effect on the ground that the dismissal order dated 21.12.2014 has been set aside by the appellate authority. Today, Mr. J. K. Goswami, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate by placing the instructions submits that the order of the DIG (Central Western Range) dated 17.08.2019, whereby, the order of removal from service of the petitioner has been set aside, has been annulled by the Director General of Police, who is the revisional authority vide order dated 11.09.2025, which has not been put to challenge by the petitioner. Confronted with such submissions with regard to the order dated 11.09.2025 passed by the DGP, Assam, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with a liberty to approach this Court, challenging the order dated 11.09.2025 taking all other grounds along with the grounds taken in this petition. Considering above, the writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn. Page No.# 3/3 Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed on withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
