ORDER:
The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following main relief:
“to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the Office Order No.P1/255(16)/2016- RM/KR dated 14.02.2017 promoting the Respondent No: 4 and 5 and 15 other junior conductors to the post of Assistant Depot Clerk is unjust, arbitrary, in violation of principles of natural justice, contrary to APSRTC Employees Service Regulations, 1964, discriminatory and in violation of Article 14 and Article 21 of the Constitution of India, set aside the same and consequently direct the Respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Depot Clerk on par with juniors by reckoning the seniority of the petitioner in Vijayawada City Division, in the interest of justice and fair play and pass …..”
2. When the matter came up for hearing, Sri A.G.Satyanarayana Rao,
learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of subsequent events in the lis, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
