ORDER: Heard Smt. R. Annapurna, learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energy for respondent No.1 and Sri V.V. Satish, learned Standing Counsel for 2 Corporation. nd respondent-
2. Petitioner has been working as Junior Accounts Officer at Circle Office, Cash Section, Guntur District, since 15.03.2024 and he is due to retire *on
31.07.2026. The cadre strength of Junior Accounts Officers in erstwhile Guntur Circle was 37 and upon division and bifurcation of Guntur Circle into Guntur, Palnadu, and Bapatia Circles, 15 posts were allocated to present Guntur Circle, 15 posts to Palnadu Circle and 7 posts to Bapatia Circle. Petitioner is stated to be at SI.No.24 in the seniority list of Junior Accounts Officers and 2"^^ respondent-Corporation is presently in the process of adjusting staff with reference to bifurcated circles. As petitioner is due to retire soon and has also undergone bypass surgery and has medical issues, representation has been made on 07.04.2025 to 2 nd respondent, requesting to place him in any of the vacancies within Guntur Circle, which is stated to be pending.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct 2'^^ respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation and pass appropriate orders.

4. time, however, as petitioner has already made ^representation, the same would be considered in accordance with law. In view of aforesaid
submissions, without expressing any merits of the matter, with the consent of both the learned
5. opinion on counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, by directing 2"^^ respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on petitioner’s representation dated 07.04.2025, having regard to the impending retirement and medical ailments of petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
