Also heard Mr. D Bora, learned Government Advocate and Mr. R Dhar, learned Standing Counsel, PWD This interlocutory application has been filed by the applicants seeking modification/alteration of the cause title in W.P(C) No. 3457/2025 as also in the order dated 25.09.2025 passed in the said writ petition. The learned counsel for the applicants submits that by oversight, the designation of the writ petitioners were shown in the writ petition as Assistant Engineers as they are actually serving as Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil). The said error also occurred in the order dated 25.09.2025 passed in W.P(C) No. 3457/2025. The interlocutory has been filed seeking liberty of the Court to amend the cause title and also a further direction that necessary corrections incorporated be read in the order dated 25.09.2025 passed in W.P(C) No. 3457/2025. Mr. R Dhar, learned Standing Counsel, PWD does not object to the prayer made. In that view of the matter, the interlocutory application stands allowed. The writ petitioners’ designations will now read as Assistant Executive Engineer(Civil) instead of Assistant Engineer(Civil) in their respective divisions as was earlier reflected in the writ petition. The amended cause title be filed in the matter within one week from today. Page No.# 5/5 Similarly in the order dated 25.09.2025 passed in W.P(C) No. 3457/2025, the designations of the petitioners are to be read as Assistant Executive Engineer(Civil) instead of Assistant Engineer(Civil).
