The petitioner herein has challenged the order dated 26.12.2008, by which his services were terminated. 2. The petitioner has however presented this writ petition on 1.4.2021. In other words, the petitioner seeks to challenge the order of 2008 in the year 2021, i.e. after a period of 14 years. 3. The petitioner in this petition states that he had given number of representations to the respondents but they remained unconsidered and hence, delay, if any, should be ignored since the petitioner was constantly making representations. 4. In my view, this cannot be a ground to entertain a writ petition which is filed 14 years after the petitioner was terminated. I am therefore, of the view that there is no justification to entertain the present writ petition, which is suffering from laches. Consequently, the writ petition is DISMISSED.
