10.06.2025 DL-13 Ali ct. no.24 WPA 10816 of 2025 ST HELENA PARVEEN Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Sabyasachi Chatterjee, Mr. Pintu Karar, Mr. Sabab Uddin Laskar …… for the petitioner. Mr. Swapan Kr. Datta, Sr. Adv. Mr. Tapas Kr. Dey …..for the State. The petitioner applied for FPS licence, it is the contentions of the petitioner that the authority has not yet selected any candidate in respect of the concerned FPS. Petitioner search the portal whereform it appears the current status of the selection is “in process”. He filed this writ petition for necessary direction. Mr. Swapan Kumar Datta, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the petitioner has no lolcus standi to file the instant writ petition. The selection process is yet to be concluded and it is under process now the petitioner is not an aggrieved person. Thus the writ petition is liable to be rejected. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties; it appears that the concerned respondent authority has not concluded the selection process moreover, it is under process. 2 Thus, at this juncture, I find no valid ground for the petitioner to approach this court. Having heard the learned counsels and taking note the submissions of Mr. Datta that the impugned selection is under process, I find no justification to entertain the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as prematured one. As affidavits are not exchanged, the allegations made in the writ petition shall be deemed to have been not admitted.
