The instant application has been preferred by the petitioners praying therein for quashing of the order as contained in Reference No. 3296, dated 25.02.2019 issued by the respondent No.3 (Annexure 4), whereby the services of these petitioners have been terminated without giving any opportunity to show cause and without following principles of natural justice. 2. At the outset, a query was made by this Court from the Respondent Bank that as to whether the show- cause notice was issued to these petitioners or not. In reply, the learned counsel fairly admits that show-cause notice was not given as per the counter affidavit. 3. Having regard to the admitted position that no show-cause notice has been given, as such, the impugned order of termination requires interference. Accordingly, impugned order is hereby quashed and set aside. 4. The matter is remitted to the Disciplinary Authority with the direction to issue show-cause notice, and thereafter proper disciplinary proceeding be initiated against the petitioners. In other words, it is directed to follow the principles of natural justice and pass an appropriate order with respect to all the petitioners. 2025:JHHC:15674 3 5.
