The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer :- "i. a writ, order or direction, in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent No. 2, 3 & 4 to decide the proceeding U/S 20/24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending since 2022 and ensure the removal of the illegal encroachment done by respondent No. 6 & 7 in time bound manner." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that demarcation proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending before respondent no. 3, however, till date the same has not been concluded. 4. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State submits that demarcation proceedings would be concluded in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that demarcation proceedings pending before respondent no. 3 be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6.
