HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K| SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.48 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein/accused, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.213 of 2024 of I Town Police Station, registered for the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short `the NDPS Act,) . 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on o5.10.2024, on receipt of credible information, the Sub Inspector of Police along with his staff and mediators rushed to Sea Horse Junction, and found the accused in possession of 3 Kgs of Ganja. The contraband was seized under the cover of a mediators report. Accused was arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that only 3 Kgs of Ganja was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner herein. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 05.10.2024. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that a rowdy sheet is pending against the petitioner and the petitioner herein is involved in twenty eight other cases. Learned === .
