Heard Mr. U.K. Barman, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This is an application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Page No.# 2/3 (i) Pranab Ranghang @ Pronob Ronghang, apprehending arrest in connection with Boginandi P.S. Case No. 45/2025 under Section 25(1)(a) of the Arms Act. 3. The allegation in the FIR dated 22.08.2025 is that one Tuman Sonowal came to one SI of police and handed over from his possession 7.66 mm pistol which he claims to have held without license since March, 2025. 4. The case diary has been received. 5. The petitioner was granted interim bail on 22.09.2025 with the conditions pursuant to which he stated to have appeared before the I.O and his statement has been recorded. 6. It is further submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State that the case was registered upon one Tuman Sonowal handing over the pistol to the police station and investigation revealed that the present petitioner had given the said weapon to one Ganesh Boro, along with instructions to hand it over to Tuman Sonowal. 7. Nevertheless, I am not inclined to cancel the interim bail granted to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is made absolute subject to the conditions that – i) He shall co-operate with the investigation; ii) He shall not hamper or tamper with evidence 8.
