Baruah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the District Commissioner, Bongaigaon submits that the petitioner was asked to provide the fresh No Objection Certificate from the President of the concerned Gaon Panchayat and till now the said No Objection Certificate has not been produced as per his instructions. 2. It further appears that the petitioner herein has also not taken steps. 3. Under such circumstances, it is therefore the opinion of this Court that the petitioner is not further interested in the instant Page No.# 3/3 proceedings, and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed.
