The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khelgaon P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 313, 328 and 376(2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri D. N. Shukla, learned JMFC, Ranchi. On 13.04.2023, the petitioner went to the house of the informant, drugged her and raped her. Attention has been drawn towards paragraph-76 of the case diary, in which, it has been mentioned that the petitioner and the informant had gone to Hotel Mercury Residency, Lalpur, prior to the occurrence and stayed together. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri D. N. Shukla, learned JMFC, Ranchi, or his successor, in connection with Khelgaon P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
