This is an application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, praying for pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with South Salmara P.S. Case No. 153/2025 under Sections 49/ 140(3)/118(2)/109/ 3(5) of BNS, 2023. 3. The allegation as per the F.I.R. against the petitioners is that the accused persons on 05.11.2025 boarded the informant and others into a boat in the river bank and took them to a lonely area and tied their hands with rope and assaulted them with lathi on the back side, leg and waist, caused serious injury with dao and also attempted to kill them. 4. Case diary is received and perused. 5. It appears that the informant of the case himself has been arrested in connection with South Salmara P.S. Case No. 155/2025 under Sections 21(b)/ 29 of the NDPS Act on 14.11.2025. 6. The learned Addl. P.P. upon perusal of the case diary submits that some of the witnesses have implicated some of the petitioners but injury report only indicates simple injury. 7. Considering the above, it is provided that in the event of arrest of the petitioners in connection with the aforementioned case, the petitioners are allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) each with one surety each of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject to the following conditions:- (i) that the petitioners shall appear before the I.O. within 7 (Seven) days from today and as and when required and shall cooperate with the investigation. Page No.# 4/4 (ii) that the petitioners shall not, directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or any other police officer, and (ii) that the petitioners shall not hamper with the investigation or tamper with the evidence of the case. 8.
