The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint (Forest) Case No. 36/2022, registered under sections 41/42 of Indian Forest Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegations are made that certain Sal logs have been kept in forest area. He submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 17 of the petition. He submits that certain villagers have taken the name of the petitioner. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations are there of keeping the Sal logs illegally. 5. Considering that petitioner has no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 17 of the petition and his name has been taken by unknown villagers, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and the learned court shall release the petitioner on terms and conditions ( 2025:JHHC:25742 ) and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper. 6.
