Bora, learned counsel representing the respondent Nos.1 and 2. By way of this Interlocutory Application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of one Dr. M. S. Lakshmi Priya, who is the present incumbent in the office of the Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC). The facts of the case is that since during the pendency of the instant Contempt Petition the respondent No.1 was transferred out from the office of the Commissioner, GMC, the new incumbent being Dr. M. S. Lakshmi Priya is necessitated to be impleaded as arrayed respondents. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the prayer is allowed.
