Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 13.01.2025 in which the petitioner has made a request to exercise his lien to rejoin his parent department i.e. the Road Construction Department. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that now he is serving in the Water Resources Department but his parent department is Road Construction Department and thus, he wants to exercise his lien to rejoin his parent post, for which he has already represented before the department but the matter has been kept pending and no decision as yet has been taken. 4. It is his prayer that his representation may be considered at the earliest and the appropriate order may be passed. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that a decision will be taken if the petitioner files the fresh representation annexing 2025:JHHC:28147 2 the copy of this order along with a memo of this writ petition. 6. Considering the prayer of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation within three weeks from today along with the copy of this order and annexing the copy of the writ petition also. 7. Once, the said petition will be filed before the respondent no. 2 and 3, they are expected to take a decision on the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. If a decision is taken in favour of the petitioner, consequential order should be passed and the action should be taken within three weeks thereafter. If the request of the petitioner is rejected, the reasons thereof should be communicated to the petitioners. 8. Accordingly, this writ application stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J. ) Rashmi/-
