Heard the parties
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Tandwa P.S. Case No. 49 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 140(1), 103(1) of the B.N.S., 2023 and cognizance has been taken under Sections 96, 108 of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of Sri S.S. Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra.
3. On 17.03.2025, the daughter of the informant went missing. On 22.03.2025, she was found hanging from Mahua Tree in Soparam Tanaja Forest. Suspicion has been raised upon the petitioner that he might have committed the murder of the deceased as the deceased used to talk to him.
4. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record.
5. Ms. Sushma Aind, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that prior to the occurrence, the deceased had talked to this petitioner.
6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri S.S. Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra in connection with Tandwa P.S. Case No. 49 of 2025.
