Mr. Benajir Hasna Mr. Aliul Islam Mr. Sadid Haider ….for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Sen Mr. Sujoy Sarkar ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is not the principal accused. It is alleged that another accused had fired the shots in question. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the statements of eye-witnesses including that of the injured. The injured received two bullets injuries. Although the shots were fired by a co-accused, it was the petitioner and another who had accompanied the principal accused and attacked the victims. Even bombs were hurled. Investigation is going on. Considering the serious nature of allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
