The petitioner’s father purchased an extent of Ac. 1-50 cents in Sy.No.1400-1A of Amadagur Village and Mandal, Sri Satya Sai District under a registered document bearing No.2882/1980 dated 22.05.1980. After the demise of the petitioner’s father, the property was devolved upon the petitioner. The petitioner made an application vide No.APDLOl 2200212721 an pass 3 dated 03.08.2022 (Ex.P.1) requesting the authority to delete the subject property from the category of “dotted lands”. The Tahsildar. Amadagur submitted a report vide Rc.No. 16/2025, dated 15.02.2025 (Ex.P.2) to the Collector & Chairman, District Level Committee, recommending deletion of the petitioner’s property from the category of dotted lands. The 3^^ respondent, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kadiri, also addressed a letter vide Rc.No.BI/224/2025, dated 03.05.2025 (Ex.P.3) recommending to delete the petitioner’s property from the category of dotted lands. 3. As per Section 7 of the A.P.Dotted Lands (Updation in Re-Settlement Register) Act, 2017, the District level committee shall dispose of the claim merits and pass a speaking order within six (6) months from the date of filing of the claim. on Section 8 of the Act provides, an appeal against the orders of the District level committee shall lie before the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration within ninety (90) days. In the case at hand, the petitioner made an application Ex.P.1 on 03.08.2022. The respondent, Tahsildar and the O'"* respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, intimated about the application of the petitioner to the District Collector by way of Exs.P.2 and P.3. Despite the said representation, the 2""' respondent-District Collector, has not taken any action. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on oral instructions submits that the 2^^ respondent, the District Collector, will pass appropriate orders. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel either side directing the 2^"^ respondent, the District Collector-Sri Satya Sai District to pass appropriate orders on Ex.P.1 application by taking into 4. 5. on 4 consideration the reports vide Exs.P2 and P.3 within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
