This is an application under Section 438 read with Section 442 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Kokrajhar P.S Case No.06/2025. 3. In this case, police seized a vehicle Maruti Suzuki Espreso bearing registration No.AS-01FY-3367 which carried 2 (two) numbers of cattle. The cattle have already been recovered. The petitioner claimed to the registered owner of the said vehicle. 4. Mr. Sarma has objected to this Criminal Revision Petition on the ground that the petitioner was also earlier involved in a similar offence. 5. I have considered the submission made by Ms. G. Sarmah. I have also gone through the documents available in the record. 6. Keeping the vehicle in custody would not serve any purpose in this case. 7. Therefore, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed. 8. Therefore, the vehicle Maruti Suzuki Espreso bearing registration No.AS-01FY-3367 shall be given to the custody of the petitioner on taking a bond of Rs. 1 lakh.
