2. The petitioner, in the aforesaid bail petitions, seeks bail in Lalganj P.S. Case No. 18 of 2018, registered for offence under Sections 307, 461, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per F.I.R., these petitioners are alleged to have caused fire-arm injuries to informant and his cousin. Doctor has found the injuries simple in nature. Other co-accused namely Devanand Rai and Prakash Kumar have been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 20.04.2023 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 9710 of 2023 (Annexure P-5). Petitioners are in custody since 22.12.2024 and 20.12.2024 respectively.

Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner in both cases namely Nitish Kumar and Babbu Thakur be released on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District and Sessions Judge – II, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 18 of 2018.
