Tamphamani, learned counsel for respondent No. 3, has produced a copy of the order dated 06-06-2025 issued by the Director General of Police, Manipur, Imphal whereby the representation dated 21- 04-2025 submitted by the petitioner has been rejected and submits that the order dated 06-06-2025 has been issued in compliance of the direction dated 20-05-2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 400 of 2025. It is submitted that the cause of the contempt petition does not survive in terms of the order dated 06-06-2025 issued by the Director General of Police, Manipur, Imphal. The said order is taken on record. Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that he may be given one week’s time to get instructions from his client. However, since the direction of this Court has already been complied, the cause of the contempt petition does not survive. The contempt petition is closed keeping it open the right of the petitioner to challenge the latest order dated 06-06-2025, if so advised.
