The present application has been filed for reviving the Execution Petition, keeping in view the fact that the same was disposed of on 06.05.2024 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, subject to final outcome of SLP.

Since Civil Appeal No.1595 of 2025 arising out of SLP (C) No.23016 of 2023, titled The State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors. Versus Surajmani & another along with connected matters, has already been disposed of by the Hon’ble Apex Court on 06.02.2025, the State has placed on record Office Order dated 07.08.2025 granting the work charge status to applicant-petitioner No.1 [Hukam Chand] on completion of eight years’ service
on notional basis from the retrospective date i.e.
01.01.2002.

Counsel for the State submits that in the case of applicant-petitioner No.2 [Chander Mohan], the needful shall also be done.

Keeping in view the statement made by counsel for the State, the present application is rendered infructuous, as the State is bound to follow the aforesaid judgment of Hon’ble Apex Court.

Needful be done within a period of six weeks from today in respect of applicant-petitioner No.2 [Chander Mohan]. Necessary orders be issued thereafter and supplied to applicant-petitioner No.2.

Accordingly, the present Execution Petition is closed by leaving the State to abide by its undertaking, as referred to above.
