2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 110/2024 arising out of Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 71/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 399, 402, 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 25(1-B) a, 25(6), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Jamtara.
3. On 30.06.2024, Narayanpur Police intercepted a Bolero bearing Registration No. JH02M2700 near Lakargada Hatiya Maidan, (Narayanpur). One Safakt Ali was apprehended from the said vehicle, while other accused persons managed to escape.
4. It is alleged that an automatic pistol was recovered from the possession of Safakat Ali.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has subsequently transpired in the confession of co-accused persons.
6. Mr. Vijoy Kumar Sinha, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.
7. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Jamtara in connection with S.T. Case No. 110/2024 arising out of Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 71/2024.
