Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 88 of 2025 arising out of Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. No. 247 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 317(4), 317(5) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Dumka.

On 22.10.2024, mobile phone of the informant was stolen by unknown person. Suspicion has been raised against named accused person including the petitioner.

During course of investigation, the petitioner was apprehended and, on his confession, stolen mobile phone was recovered.

It appears that the petitioner is involved in as many as five cases of similar nature.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
