The writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding directing to respondent no.2/District Magistrate/Arms Licensing Authority to renew the Arms License bearing no.11072/P.S. Sarai Ankil and further permitted to purchase the arm N.P.B. Revolver/pistol." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that renewal of arms license of petitioner is pending consideration before respondent authority along with permission to extend the time for purchase of arms. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that application of the petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that the respondent no.2 shall decide the application of the petitioner for renewal of arms license and extension of time to purchase arm, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. 6.
