Learned A.G.A. appearing for the State, at the very outset, has raised preliminary objection regarding maintainability of this criminal revision on the ground that the revisionist has a statutory remedy under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter to be referred as the ''Act of 1989") in the form of an appeal. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the revisionist in the aforesaid circumstances has submitted that the revisionist wants to withdraw this revision with liberty to file an appeal under Section 14-A of the Act of 1989. 3. In view of the aforesaid, this revision is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. 4. The office is directed to return the certified copy of the impugned order dated 21.12.2024 to learned counsel appearing for the revisionist after keeping photocopy of the same on record.
