Prayer is to consider half of the services of the petitioners on daily wage basis as entitled to be counted for determining the pensionable services in terms of Rule 57 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982. 3. Learned counsel are ad idem that the issue involved is covered by judgment of this Court in Syed Afzaluddin Ustad s/o Abdul Samad [W.P.No.815/2011, decided on 24.08.2011] reiterated in Raju Dashrath Chittajwar .Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors. [W.P.No.3171/2025 with connected matters decided on 05.08.2026]. 4. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 makes a statement that the prayers made by the petitioners seeking pension, will be acceded to within two months. So far as arrears of pension is concerned, the same will be paid within six months from today. 5. The statement is accepted as an undertaking to the Court.
