Panging, learned counsel for the applicants, who submits that in view of the letter dated 22.06.2025, whereby the DIG & Head of Branch, CBI, ACB, Guwahati informed the Secretary, APPSCE, Itanagar that the investigation in respect of the post of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication & Radio Technician) is still going on, the Central Bureau of Investigation, Anti- Page No.# 5/5 Corruption Branch (ACB) through the DIG & Head of Branch, CBI, ACB, Guwahati, is required to be impleaded as a necessary party in the connected writ petition. Ms. N. Anju, learned counsel for the respondents No.1 and 2; and Ms. P. Pangu, learned Government Advocate for the State respondent No.3, are present. By filing this application, the applicants/writ petitioners have sought impleadment of the Central Bureau of Investigation, Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) through the DIG & Head of Branch, CBI, ACB, Guwahati as respondent No.4 in the connected writ petition, being WP(C) No. 306(AP)/2025. The prayer so made by the learned counsel for the applicants has not been objected to by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed. In view of the above, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) through the DIG & Head of Branch, CBI, ACB, Guwahati, be impleaded as respondent No.4 in the connected writ petition.
